Burgopak Poland is one of the largest players in the premium carton packaging market. The company's offerings include everything from designing creative packaging to manufacturing, followed by repackaging, folding, labeling, warehousing and shipping packaged products anywhere in the world. What is also special is that Burgopak Poland operates in accordance with the idea of sustainable development - using ecosystem-friendly solutions and reducing emissions.

Problem

Burgopak Poland’s previous website not only failed to generate organic traffic – it also failed to reflect what the company does, how it operates and at what scale.

Goals

  • Improving the aesthetics of the website and enhancing the user experience – so that the site convinces potential customers to place orders
  • Changing the site’s information architecture and navigation to allow users to browse and use the site without problems
  • Increase the number of users filling out the contact form
  • Emphasize the information that Burgopak operates comprehensively and cares about the environment
  • Reduce page load time
  • Creating a universal design – so that in the future the client can develop the site independently, creating new subpages without knowledge of graphic design.

Solution

To begin with, we conducted an analysis of customer needs and trends in the premium carton packaging industry. Together with Burgopak Poland’s marketing department, we determined the key objectives that the new website should meet. The result of these activities was a detailed list of assumptions that we should stick to when developing the website. It was on this basis that we developed a new mockup of the website, which took into account changes in navigation and organization of content on the site.

We then moved on to the graphic layout design stage, which was, so to speak, an update and modernization of the existing website design. We focused on aesthetics and functionality – so that the site was eye-friendly and easy to read for potential customers. The work included, among other things, adding functionality that increased the usability of the site. We also paid special attention to the issue of colors – among other things, yellow accents appeared on the site to direct the eye to the call to action buttons, and by combining a white background and dark gray font, we created an appropriate visual hierarchy.

The final stage was website implementation and technical optimization. We improved the page load time and adapted the site to mobile devices. Finally, we ran tests to make sure all elements worked flawlessly.

The project involved 4 specialists: a UX Designer, SEO Copywriter, Analyst and Web Developer.

Results

Burgopak Poland’s new website not only reflects the company’s professionalism and comprehensive services. Users can instantly see the offerings, download the catalog and contact the company.
